The Merida One Forty 400 Dual Suspension Mountain Bike is spec'd for high performance climbing and descending. This is an all round, superb trail bike, made for the toughest terrain. The same geometry as the more expensive models but packed with good stuff like a long travel dropper seatpost, wide range 11 speed Shimano gears and excellent suspension with Suntour and RockShox rear and front. It has a super steep 80 degree seat angle, low front end and bottom bracket allowing for clearance on gnarly ascents. The longer reach figures across all sizes and a well balanced 65 degree head angle makes this bike a dream to ride on the technical descents. With Merida's new sizing system, mountain bikers can run a longer or shorter reach frame independent of their height with suspension which becomes progressively more suited for heavier/hardcore riders. The bike is nicely finished off with Wire Port cable routing and a reliable threaded bottom bracket.
